Customer Ordering
K3 and Microsoft Dynamics offer a unique customer ordering experience by allowing orders to be set up at POS; this includes the automatic raising of back to back purchase orders. Special attention is paid to workflow and the use of look-ups, like the postcode file from Quick Address Systems (QAS), which ensures data entry is fast and accurate.
The customer ordering interface supports the ability to record multiple payments and/or finance agreements, as well as general, customer and order specific information, for example delivery instructions, which can be recorded for later inclusion on reports (such as the despatch note).
Drop Shipment Management functionality streamlines processes by allowing the vendor to directly deliver to the customer. By using vendor and customer portals orders can be tracked within a secure environment.
