Promotions
Advanced Promotions, (AdProm), is part of the K3 Dynamics product suite and is fully integrated into the retail solution. It is an enterprise level promotions engine that can integrate with other head office and POS applications. provides an easy way to setup and manage your promotions.
Available as a standalone solution or as part of a joined up retail solution; this module improves merchandising performance by focusing on value added activities that deliver real benefit to the customer.
AdProm is comprised of two parts:
- Conditions - Where you set the criteria that trigger each promotion
- Benefits - Where you define the customer reward once all conditions are satisfied
For speed and ease of use, AdProm can be selected for each promotion based upon:
- An item list for individual selections
- The selection of a group of related items based upon division, category, product group or product subgroup
- Weighting of promotions
The AdProm module also assigns a weighting to each promotion so that the relevant promotion is applied in each circumstance. All triggered benefits will be applied in order of weighting. Weighting of promotions depends on the condition/benefit types selected. When applying benefits, AdProm will update item price - taking into account promotions already applied. This will be updated on every change of weighting.
